Over the years of teaching elementary art, I had saved a lot of School Arts Magazines.

I went through all of them during a summer break and saved some lessons. Then I cut out a bunch of colorful pictures, as well as text from numerous articles.  I also cut out letters A, R, and T from foam board, then "mod podged" (overlayed with watered down glue) the cutout magazines pieces.

The A has a colorful pattern theme.

The R shows different text and words (which all refer to art related topics).

The T is full of different styled portraits.

The boarders are comprised of the left over magazine cutouts.
