Holiday Bear Art Project for Kids

This project combines drawing, creativity, and personal expression, making it a great choice for elementary students during the holiday season.

Hanging Holiday Bears Frames

You'll need a circle for the bear head, 1/2 a circle for the bear body, circles for the ears (and smaller circles for inside of the ears), and a circle for the snout.

Glue the pieces down on a contrasting colored paper.

I used pre-colored red & green popsicle sticks, tissue paper squares, and I made bows using tissue paper and buttons.

Students drew eyes, a nose and mouth, then glued down their bows and assembled the frame, using the tissue paper squares to fill in the corners.  Once dry, I cut around the popsicle sticks and added the students name on black paper at the bottom of the frame, and taped black yarn on the back to hang.
